We make it with love
Everything is made fresh, from scratch, by hand. No additives, no preservatives, no shortcuts — just proper pastry, done right.
We make it with quality
We use the best ingredients we can find — Scottish whenever possible, and ethically sourced where not. From local flour to seasonal fruit, our suppliers matter to us.
We make it for you
Whether it’s a box of treats for your friends, something sweet with your afternoon cuppa, or a better selection for your café counter — we’ve got you covered.
Hi there — nice to meet you!
I’m Sam, the baker behind Linzer. I’m originally from Hungary, where I grew up with a family who love to bake and a local bakery just around the corner. I spent much of my childhood in the kitchen with my mum and granny while they made Hungarian and Austrian classics, and those flavours still inspire much of what I do today.
I’ve spent the past decade working as a chef, pastry chef, and baker — including time in fine dining and a brief stint in Michelin kitchens — and that experience gives me the tools to bring those old family recipes to you with a lighter, more modern touch. At Linzer, everything is handcrafted to a high standard, from scratch, with care.
Great pastry starts with great ingredients, so I source top-quality, seasonal produce from local suppliers wherever possible. My aim is simple: to create honest pastries you’ll enjoy. Come by one of our pop-ups for a snack and chat — check out our Instagram for when and where — or order a box straight to your doorstep for a Sunday treat.
